GOLD RESEARCH PROJECT - OVERVIEW
• Your goal is to work co-operatively as a group in collecting and collating data on the influence that the discovery of gold had on Australian society.
• Each of you will be responsible for researching and presenting one element of the Everyday Life section of the project. You will need to record your name next to the chosen element on this sheet and sign off when you have completed your research.
• You will also be responsible for collecting and collating data on one of the major stakeholders from the Gold Rush era.
• The group decides on how the information will be presented to the class. You can choose from Comic Life, iMovie, Word or PowerPoint.
• Visit http//goldinaustralia.blogspot.com for some useful links that will help you with your research. You can also journal about your group decisions, research, questions, comments and interesting facts from this site. Your parents may also leave comments here.
